Reviewing 1,024 drafts without a manager

When six agents solve the same task, one of them has to win. How Reviewer picks, and why it explains itself.

Bram de Wit

Co-founder and CTO

For risky tasks we let several Coders try at once. That means Reviewer often reads six versions of the same function and has to keep one.

Correct, then clear, then short

Reviewer ranks drafts in that order. A clever three-line solution loses to a plain ten-line one if the plain one is easier to read and passes the same tests.

Every drop is explained

Dropped drafts aren’t thrown away silently. Reviewer writes one sentence for each, and those sentences end up in the pull request, so you can disagree with it.
